The Village of Sugar Mountain Golf Course is located minutes from Boone, Banner Elk and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Sugar Mountain Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course described as “Everyman’s Golf Course” in a region that is home to some of the world’s premier private country club communities. The course was designed by Frank Duane and features 9-par threes, 8 par fours and a single par five. At an elevation of 4,000 feet, the course has fantastic putting surfaces among sprawling laurel and clear streams. Rates vary during the season which opens early April and concludes at the end of October.
Beech Mountain Golf offers the brilliant Willard-Byrd designed 18-hole, championship golf course. A and W Rentals has a number of rentals that offer Beech Mountain Club guest access.
Boone Golf Club is nestled in the beautiful Watauga Valley, just south of Boone NC on US Hwy 321. Boone Golf Club was designed by Ellis Maples and takes advantage of the scenery and greenery surrounding it, maximizing your enjoyment of the crisp mountain air and breath-taking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
